On TV an cable, Univision aired "Los Cinco Magníficos", a mix of Cirque du Soleil and “Dancing with the Stars” in a reality show, for which he wrote specific theater and Circus music, He also composed the score for the TV series "Lo que Callamos las Mujeres", 2002 INTE Award and the 2004 GLAAD Media Award. He recently finished scoring "From Zimbabwe to Santa Fe", a feature documentary by Cristina McCandless. He has been commissioned to compose “Cosmovision”, a Contemporary Ballet Suite inspired by Aztec and Mayan cultures that mixes Pre-Hispanic instruments, Orchestra, Mariachi elements and Electronica, to be premiered by San Antonio’s Prime Contemporary Ballet Company. He’s been appointed to serve in the GRAMMY’s Recording Academy Latin Outreach Committee (Texas Chapter) that advocates and educates the community and schools on the importance of the creative process of music and also serves as a Mentor in the NALIP Latino producers Academy, also has been Panelist for the series “Scoring Your Film” hosted by SA Film. |
